The KPS CanEra uses our 10 years of enriched cage experience and customer feedback to create the ultimate Enriched Housing system. Keeping with our philosophy of minimizing egg obstructions, an egg in the CanEra has 0 potential system collision points between where it is laid and the egg belt. The Standard width is similar to many conventional cage systems and allows for a simpler refurbishing of existing barns.
The CanEra’s multi-functional doors allow for easy access to any part of the cage, whether for bird placement, bird removal, or cleaning of the cage during depopulation. When completely open, there is no part of the cage obstructed. The CanEra comes standard with a flat feed chain and finger style egg elevator, but can also be paired with KPS’ gentle egg de-escalator and aluminum rail end units.
